South Dakota is full of tourist attractions to please all.  Nature lovers will love the beautiful views and many nature parks.  History buffs will find a variety of Wild West experiences.  Below is a sampling of activities available in South Dakota.

CUSTER-  BEDROCK CITY THEME PARK-  US HIGHWAYS 16 & 385, Custer.     Your kids will love the walk around Bedrock.  Tour the houses and town building, ride a flintstonemobile and the Iron Horse Train.  There's even a show to see your favorite Flintstone's characters!  Don't forget to take the kids to Mt. Rockmore to get a photo.  Restaurant on site.  There is also a campground on site.  Open May 19 - Sept 3;  call for current hoursCost is $10, ages 5 and under Free.  605.673.4079

KADOKA-  BADLANDS PETRIFIED GARDENS-  Exit 152 from I-90, Kadoka. Outdoor park with the largest petrified trees and logs found in the Badlands area.  There is also an indoor museum with prehistoric fossils and a fluorescent mineral exhibit.    Open mid- April - mid - October.   Call for current hours. Cost is $5, ages 6 - 16 is $2.50, ages 5 & under are Free. For information call 605.837.2448

KEYSTONE-  MOUNT RUSHMORE-  Highway 244, Keystone.  Just amazing!  See Mount Rushmore from the overlook then walk through the museum.  Hours: Daily 8 - 9 (Sept 6 - Sept 30 2012), Daily 8 - 5 (Oct 1 2012 - May 2013). There is no fee to visit Mount Rushmore but you must pay to park at the site. Parking Cost is $11 per vehicle. For information call 605.574.2523.

KEYSTONE-  RUSHMORE CAVE-  13622 Hwy 40, Keystone. The area's largest stalactite cave.  One hour tour.  Hours:
9 - 5 (May 1 - May 25, Aug 20 - Aug 31, Sept 3 - Oct 31)
8 - 8 (May 26 - Aug 4, Sept 1 & Sept 2)
9 - 7 (Aug 5 - Aug 19)
CLOSED (Nov 1 - Apr 30)
Cost is $14 for ages 13+, ages 5 - 12 is $8 and ages 4 & under are Free. Discounts are available for active duty military as well. For information call 605.255.4384


RAPID CITY-  BEAR COUNTRY USA- 
 Located at 13820 S. Hwy 16;  about 8 miles south of Rapid City.   Drive-through nature center.   See animals as they roam freely.   Hours:  June - Aug 8a - 6p, May and Sept - Mid Nov 9a - 4p. Cost is $16 for adults, seniors 62+ is $13, children ages 5 - 12 is $10, children ages 4 & under are Free.   For information call:  605.343.2290

RAPID CITY-  BLACK HILLS CAVERN-   Located at 2600 Cavern Rd, Rapid City.  Features 28 cave formations.  Two types of tours available.  Open May 1 - September 30.  Call for hours and costs.  605.343.0542
