Ellsworth AFB has a variety of base housing depending upon rank and family size of service member. There are 2,084 housing units; 1,881 for enlisted and 203 for officers. The housing is divided among five areas: Centennial Estates, Black Hills Estates, Rushmore Heights and Prairie View are all located on base. Dakota Ridge is located off base

Advance applications (DD Form 1746) can be made through the Housing Referral Office, as soon as you have PCS orders. Form can be retrieved at www.airforcehousing.hq.af.mil or through your base housing office. Be sure to report to the Ellsworth AFB Housing Office to complete your application upon arrival.
