OK, I am here --- now what?  

Arrival at a new Base is an exciting but worrisome time. Information on your new assignment will be the key to making your first days at F. E. Warren AFB  a pleasant experience. There are numerous resources which offer bits of information but we will place valuable information in one location so you can easily navigate through the arrival process.

Getting to F. E. Warren AFB

Arriving at Cheyenne Airport

Most often a member of your gaining unit, or your sponsor, will meet you at the airport.   If no one is there to meet you, call the Command Post at 307.773.3924 for assistance contacting your sponsor.  If you choose to drive yourself:  Exit the airport and go north on US-85.  Merge onto I-25 South.  Exit at #11.  Follow signs.  The airport is only minutes from the Base.

Billeting

Billeting is comprised of 12 historic buildings which have been renovated to the conveniences needed today, while still retaining their original beauty and history.

In-Processing

Soldiers reporting to F.E. Warren Air Force Base for in-processing should report to the 24-hour central arrival point at the Crow Creek Inn in Building 216. After checking in, members should report to the unit orderly room and the customer service section in the military personnel flight, Building 1284, located on Saber Road. In-processing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base begins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday in Building 1284. The unit CSS will help coordinate a time and date for in-processing. Be sure and bring all pertinent personnel records including medical and dental records as well as several copies of your orders. A series of briefings will be provided during in-processing which may take several days. For more information about in-processing procedures, call the customer service center from 0800-1600 by calling 307-773-1845.
