Education opportunities for everyone!

Whether you are continuing your college education or have children to settle into a new school you will find availability in the Minot area. The on-base Education Office offer a wide variety of educational options.

On base housing has two elementary schools (Dakota Elementary and North Plains Elementary) and one middle school (Memorial Middle School). The high school is located about 13 miles away in Minot. Schools are on a 9 month school year. Traditionally school begins the week before Labor Day and ends the week before or after Memorial Day.

Children must be 5 by August 31 for Kindergarten
Children must be 6 by August 31 for First Grade
