Located close to Hill AFB

Riverdale, Clinton, Sunset, Clearfield and Layton.
Ogden, Utah-
Just north of Hill AFB
is the beautiful town of Ogden. Nestled along the mountains you
will find a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. From large
chain establishments to quaint local shops! The city's roots are
full of railroad history. The Union Station Museum and Golden
Spike Monument showcase this proud history. There are many
activities for the nature lover. In the nearby area you will find
Ogden Nature Center, Willard Bay State Recreation Area and the
Wasatch-Cache National Forest. If golfing and skiing are on your
schedule, you won't be disappointed by Ogden's 18 golf courses and 3
nearby ski resorts. You'll love Ogden's friendly small-town
charm and it's large city conveniences.
Salt Lake City, Utah-
Located about 35
miles south of Hill AFB, Salt Lake City is the closet 'big' city.
Shoppers will be thrilled with the many malls and large chain stores.
Don't miss the Gardner Historic Village which houses old time stores in
historic houses. Nature lovers can fill their days with
hiking through SLC's many trails and parks. Often
referred to as a beautiful and safe city with a small western town feel.
The friendly feeling and abundant activities will make SLC a favorite
destination for those stationed at Hill AFB.
