OK, I am here --- now what?
Arrival at a new Base is an exciting but
worrisome time. Information on your new assignment will be the key to making your first
days at Peterson a pleasant experience. There are numerous resources which offer bits of
information but we will place valuable information in one location so you can easily
navigate through the arrival process.
Getting to
Peterson
Arriving at the
Airport
Exit the airport and turn
right on Powers Blvd. Follow for about 6 miles. Turn right
at Airport Rd. Then take a right at the first light. This
road leads to the West Gate (the base's only 24 hour gate).
Driving Yourself
Exit I-25 onto Academy Blvd.
Travel toward the main city area. Then go East on Platte Ave (Hwy
24) for about 1 miles. The North Gate will be on the right (North
Gate hours: every day from 5 am - 7 pm).
