OK, I am here --- now what?  

Arrival at a new Base is an exciting but worrisome time. Information on your new assignment will be the key to making your first days at the Air Force Academy a pleasant experience. There are numerous resources which offer bits of information but we will place valuable information in one location so you can easily navigate through the arrival process.

Getting to The Air Force Academy

Arriving at the Airport

Exit the airport on Drennon Road then go North on Powers Blvd.  Follow for about 12 miles.  Go west on Woodmen Rd.   Go north on Academy Blvd to the South Gate.

Driving Yourself

FROM THE SOUTH:  Exit I-25 at exit 150.  Follow signs.
FROM THE NORTH:  Exit I-25 at exit 156B.  Follow signs.

In-Processing

Upon arrival, check in with your sponsor. If you are unable to get a hold of your sponsor, you can call the Base Locator at 719.333.1110 or DSN 333.1110. Take your orders and sealed records package to your gaining unit commander's support staff for scheduling of in-processing.  Be sure to wear your uniform for all in-processing appointments.
