visitors a chance to pursue riches; this time at their many
casinos.
COLORADO SPRINGS-
Bear Creek Nature Center- Located at 245 Bear Creek Road.
Has nature trails and wildlife exhibits. Hours: Weds -

El Pomar Carriage Museum- Located at 16 Lake Circle (in front

Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site- Located at the entrance of

Santa's Workshop/North Pole- Located just off from Hwy 24.
This large Christmas-themed amusement park is located at the foot of

American West Museum & Heritage Center- Located at 3091
California Street. Museum is housed in the former home of the
first female African-American doctor in Colorado. Exhibits look at
the history of African-American pioneers, soldiers and cowboys in the

DENVER- Museum
of Nature & Science- Located at 2001 Colorado Blvd. This
3-story museum is one of the largest natural history museums in the
country. Has a variety of exhibits. There is an IMAX theater
and planetarium on site. Hours: daily 9 - 5; closed on

Mile Historic Park- Located at 715 S. Forest Street.
Tour this pioneer farm which at one time served as a stage coach stop.
It features the oldest remaining house in Denver. Hours:

Park City Museum- Located at 4th and Front St. Walk the
streets of this restored Colorado gold-mining town. There are 35
buildings which are either on their original site or were moved from the

theme of a 1880s town. There are rides, an alpine slide,
