The Community College of Aurora offers programs to prepare students to become

SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Pre-K Education-

Most local school districts do not have a free Pre-K program for every student.  There are several programs available for special needs and low income children.  Call the district you will be living in for more information on these programs.  Children residing in Peak View Estates base housing will attend these schools:   K - 8 attend Murphy Creek Elementary School,  9 - 12 attend Gateway High School.

This is the school district which surrounds Buckley AFB.  Children living in Base Housing on Fitzsimons will also attend this district.

APS is one of the largest in the state including 41 schools with 24,000 students.  A variety of programs should encourage learning for all developmental levels from special needs to the Aurora Gifted and Talented Experience Program.
